We just finished a week of dramatic and significant "last classes" with all the teachers, where we created movement pieces that summed up journeys, territories and personal stories. It's very interesting to watch everyone and see how much they've changed and also notice the things that haven't changed. People are so interesting.
More and more I use the word "harrowing" to apply to school. But it's a good kind of harrow. Turns the earth up for new planting. Speaking of harrow, post-impro included a great field talk with Lin and, after Space Lab, Bax, Norway x 2 and JM and I bought a bottle of whiskey and drank it by the canal until the sun went down. Over the course of that afternoon and evening I learned many happy things and a few sad things.
